Are you Suited to E-Business? [back to quick facts]

First off I feel everyone is suited to e-business. It also depends on how you interpret the word e-business. I will rephrase it to mean Internet Marketing. If you have a business card then you are well suited to having a web site that identifies who you are and how they can get in touch with you about your products and services. In other words, use the Internet to advertise your business.

You can get sophisticated like Amazon.com and do you entire business through the Internet. This includes more than advertising but actually doing commerce sales on the Internet.

Consider your business goals when determining the level of sophistication that you want to do when you use your business on the Internet. Also, you will always use traditional approaches to sell your products and services. The Internet only helps you expand them to different markets, audiences, and opportunities. Never disregard traditional methods of advertising. You will want to add your web address to your existing advertisements. Not everyone chooses to purchase through the Internet, particularly when people enjoy getting out in the country doing pick-your-own products to roadside market stands.
